Abstract

ABSTRACT
Organizing experimental and practical activities in teaching is one of the techniques which help develop
student’s core competencies, particulary problem-solving. In this article, a process of designing experimental
and practical activities towards developing students’ problem solving competencies was proposed. From there,
this process has been applied in designing experimental and practical activities in teaching topic “Growth and
development in plants”, Body Biology section in high school.
