Abstract

Abstract: According to the General Education Program in Mathematics - 2018, mathematical problemsolving ability is one of the five components of mathematical competence that students must form and develop. The system of first-order inequalities in two unknowns is a body of knowledge that connects mathematics to practice and can be used to develop mathematical problem-solving skills. In this paper, we design teaching situations for a system of first-order inequalities in two unknowns to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities.
