Evaluation of financial management and financial autonomy at University of Sciences, Hue University

Abstract

In recent years, the financial management of the University of Science, Hue University has made many positive changes to better suit the development process, as well as move towards financial autonomy. Financial management includes budget management and expense management. In financial management, it is necessary to apply management functions including: planning, organizing and monitoring in a direction consistent with the university’s goals, vision and mission. The article evaluates the financial management at the University of Science, Hue University through a survey of staff and lecturers working at the university. On that basis, the article proposes some solutions to improve financial management at the school in the near future.
