Building effective schools in the world and lessons for Vietnam through effectiv school access

Abstract

Autonomous schools (NTTC) affect the quality of education in general and school effectiveness in particular to different degrees. With NTTC, the educational quality and effectiveness of schools change through the participation and responsibility of those directly related to students, namely Parents, teachers, and the community in aspects such as: autonomy in school budget planning and management; The degree of autonomy in human resource management; The role of the school board in school governance (participation); School and student evaluations; Responsibility. Studying the relationship between aspects of autonomy and effective schools has implications for the educational reform of Vietnam today.
