Applying learning through play in teaching Natural and Social Sciences in primary schools

Abstract
The General Education Program 2018 at primary level is built in the direction of developing learners’ qualities and competencies. In order for the learning to be meaningful and highly effective for primary school students, teachers need to create a happy learning environment that stimulates students’ excitement so that students can participate in interactions and experiences. The article approaches to analyze the concept, characteristics and meaning of teaching in the approach of Learning through play; identify the objectives and characteristics of the subject Nature and Society in primary school, thereby proposing the process of designing lesson plans to apply them to effective teaching.
