Some solutions to help students learn specialized subjects in English

Abstract

The participation in academic subjects taught in English provides students a lot of obvious benefits not only in English skills but also in future profession. However, this learning process also makes students facing many challenges when taking the course. The article presents the English skills that students need to gain when taking an EMI course, as well as strategies can be used to support students improve their English skills and learn well in their EMI courses. Furthermore, the article also introduces some strategies to improve the student’s confidence and guide students in the EMI course.
