Abstract

There are many articles and information channels that talk about the current state of smoking, referring to the alarming figures that tobacco causes. According to the Hanoi Center for Disease Control, the percentage of people using tobacco today is very high. Up to 81.7% of students and students smoke cigarettes. That is why every year, Vietnam spends up to 24,000 billion VND treating hundreds of thousands of patients with diseases caused by tobacco such as lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc. Despite the harmful effects on health problems caused by smoking and second-hand smoke have been continuously warned, but the smoking among teenagers, especially students is on the rise. This behavior not only affects health but also an unsightly image in the educational environment.
