Fostering problem-solving competence in teaching math for primary school students

Abstract

Problem solving ability is one of the important competencies that need to be formed and developed for students. Teaching in the direction of developing problem-solving capacity will help
students be more active, proactive and creative in capturing knowledge. Using problem situations is one of the effective methods to develop problem solving capacity for students. The article mentions the problem of practicing problem-solving skills in teaching math solutions for students at the end of primary school.
