Abstract

In the current trend of strong development in artificial intelligence, we have witnessed numerous significant improvements and changes in various fields, foreign language teaching is not an exception. As an advanced artificial intelligence language model, ChatGPT has brought many opportunities and challenges to the teaching and learning of foreign languages. This article focuses on analyzing the benefits that ChatGPT brings to Chinese language teaching, as well as identifying the opportunities and potential challenges that it poses for foreign language teaching in general and Chinese language teaching in particular.
