Abstract

Critical thinking is a dialectical thinking process, which includes the analysis and evaluation of information. Critical thinking brings many positive aspects in promoting learners' linguistic thinking ability. The article points out the shortcomings in teaching and learning speaking skills for students majoring in Chinese language at Academy of People's Security, offering solutions to apply Critical thinking to improve teaching effectiveness of Chinese speaking skills at Academy of People's Security.
