Abstract

Functional thinking (TDH) is a type of thinking characterized by perceiving processes and the specific and general correspondences between mathematical objects or between their properties. The development of TDH in teaching Mathematics helps learners have a more complete view of Mathematical objects and the relationship between them. This article proposes some construction problems using transformations, with the support of geometry software such as Geometer’s Sketchpad, GeoGebra, etc. to develop TDH for students of Mathematics Teacher Education.
