Abstract
The goal of the Math education program (December 2018) is mainly to focus on developing students’ mathematical competence, including thinking ability and mathematical reasoning ability. To enhance these abilitys, we need to develop mathematical thinking, especially to develop creative thinking for students. The article identifies the characteristics of creative thinking, as well as proposes some measures to develop creative thinking for students through teaching the topic of derivative application – Calculus 12.
