Abstract
Developing mathematical thinking as well as reasoning ability for students in learning is extremely important and is also one of the issues that need to be researched to contribute to realizing the educational goals of the general math program. 2018. Mathematics is a subject with good conditions to train and develop students’ thinking and reasoning abilities, one of the 5 specific competencies included in the general education curriculum of Mathematics 2018. The article clarifies the manifestations of mathematical thinking and reasoning capacity and proposes teaching organization measures to develop students’ mathematical thinking and reasoning capacity through teaching the topic “ Trigonometry” in grade 11.
