Some solutions to educate hand washing habits for preschool children

Abstract

Educating preschool children about hand washing habits is an extremely necessary activity, contributing to protecting children’s health and minimizing the risk of disease. Actually, this activity is given a lot of attention in preschools, but about 53.3% of 5-6 year old children successfully perform hand washing with soap due to the lack of reasonable distribution from families and teachers’ activities. Therefore, the article has proposed some solutions to improve the effectiveness of educating children on hand hygiene habits such as enhancing knowledge acquisition related to hand washing activities, instructing children washing their hands properly, fully equipping necessary items and combining closely with parents in training children’s habits.
