Abstract

In elementary school, there are two forms of learning result assessment: regular assessment and periodic assessment. For Mathematics in early grades, periodic assessments are conducted at the end of the semester and the end of the school year; In the final grades of elementary school, periodic assessments are carried out at the middle of the 1st semester, the end of 1st semester, the middle of 2nd semester, and the end of the school year. This paper presents the theory of periodic assessment and proposes a process for designing periodic tests in Mathematics in elementary schools. At the same time, give an example of designing a periodic test for Grade 5 Math at the end of semester 1 according to the proposed process.
