Using textbooks to develop student competences in teaching History in high schools

Abstract

Each teaching trend has certain advantages and disadvantages, but the common point is that it focuses on teaching and developing learners’ abilities. Previously, teaching mainly equipped students with knowledge about what they would learn? Now that we have shifted to teaching, what will we help us do and apply in life? This article will present the development of historical capacity for students through the use of history textbooks.
