Creating motivation to learn English for non-English major students at Hai Phong University

Learning foreign languages in general and learning English in particular is a process that requires a lot of effort and practice. In the process of learning English, learners will encounter many difficulties such as time constraints, lack of a foreign language learning environment, etc. To overcome these barriers, in addition to knowledge of phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, language skills, lecturers need to help students have motivation and determination so that they can achieve their goals of learning English. This article proposes some ways to motivate non-majors at Hai Phong University to learn English to help them confidently and proactively acquire knowledge and practice skills to achieve their goals.
