Picture exchange communication system (PECS) – an intervention method for children with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract

Intervention methods for children with autism spectrum disorders are divided into schools with their own hypotheses about approaches, goals and activities. This article only explores the image exchange communication method in treating autism for preschool children.
