Exploiting some tools on Moodle to personalize learning for online courses

Abstract

Personalized learning is one of the most widely discussed teaching trends in the context of educational innovation. Personalized learning can take place in traditional face-to-face teaching environments with a small number of learners. However, when expanding the scope of education, implementing personalized learning requires the assistance of technology. The article discusses a solution that utilises features within the Moodle learning management system to implement personalized learning for online courses. To validate its feasibility, this solution was tested in the design of an online course for the Soft Skills module at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
