Abstract

Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860-1904) is one of the greatest writers of critical realism, a master of short stories. With his unique art renovation, he was the one who raised this literature genre into the higher level in both Russian literature and the world literature. In this article, the author delves into the features of the ending as a unique feature that made the identity, vitality and irresistible charm of Chekhov’s short stories.
