Using extensive reading materials for teaching four and five word poems in the 7th grade Literature textbook

Abstract

Extensive reading is a mandatory requirement for pupils in the Literature general education program, 2018. The new testing and assessment orienation also suggests that teachers use extensive reading materials to promote the ability of children’s reading comprehension. Therefore, using extensive reading materials in Literature lessons is necessary. In this article, we present how to use extensive reading materials for teaching four and five word poems in the 7th grade Literature textbook.
