Abstract

Friction tight welding (FSW - Friction Stir Welding) is a new welding technology, does not use filler metal to fill the weld, has almost no deformation and no crystallization cracks, environmentally friendly There is no hot process, no toxic gas is created when welding, no arc rays or energy radiation, high efficiency of energy and material use.
This article researches and designs friction welding tools for butt welding of parts made from aluminum alloys, experimentally evaluates the quality of welding tools and the quality of friction welds when welding aluminum alloys.
