Abstract

Based on the requirements of the Language Arts and Literature curriculum 2018 and the actual selection of argumentative/ persuasive texts using in reading comprehension teaching, this article propose the priority of argumentative/ persuasive texts with discussion content.This is designed to contribute to the formation and development of critical thinking for students, as well as to help them acquire diverse perspectives, perceptions and evaluations in the process of communication.
