Applying AI technology to innovate teaching methods

Abstract

Applying technology in teaching is an inevitable need in the history of human development. That inevitability is even more affirmed in this day and age, when all means and applications of digital technology have spread widely across all areas of society. In education, 21st century learners are considered the generation born with digital technology (digital native), using technology in learning is of course unquestionable. In particular, artificial intelligence (AI) has created breakthroughs in many fields, and applications in higher education are not an exception. This is a revolution, AI helps accelerate the learning process and improve learners’ English skills more effectively than ever. This article focuses on analyzing the positive benefits that AI brings to education; At the same time, we point out the challenges and difficulties when applying AI to higher education, thereby proposing some main solutions to overcome these difficulties.
