Abstract

The teaching of some knowledges of Physics and Chemistry is facing many difficulties due to little-to-no lab equipment and supporting software, for instance: In order to observe CH4, the combination of ions in chemicals reactions (AgNo3 and KCl), a really modern and expensive microscope is needed, and not everyone is able to use it. The nuclear reaction or the Bohr axiom are very abstract knowledges, and these processes are very difficult to observe. Therefore, when teaching these knowledges, most of the time teachers only describe through speeches or 2D images but not through software. Despite the fact that there are videos simulating the atomic structure, these models are too simple, and these videos are unable to help modify these models by hand, to rotate, and to observe the model structures in various directions. The background of these videos are pre-programmed color backgrounds but not the background of reality. In this article, we introduce 5 new simulations for use in teaching some physics and chemistry knowledge.
