Using technology in teaching and learning English in the context of globalization

Abstract

Dictation has been one popular technique for Listening skill developement for decades. Its effectiveness has ben proved through numerous studies and research. Therefore, more and more English educators and learners are integrating this activity into their teaching or self-study process with a view to enhacing their Listening skill. This current article serves as a synthesis of important benefits, challenges and provide a suggested procedure to practise this strategy.
