Current status of practicum and some proposals to improve pedagogical competence for students at French Department, Hanoi University of Education
Abstract
This study investigates the present status of internship engagements among French students at Hanoi National University of Education. Emphasis is placed on assessing and scrutinizing the teaching internships undertaken by fourth-year students. A survey questionnaire methodology is employed to grasp the internship landscape and suggest remedies to bolster teaching competencies within this timeframe. The dataset encompasses responses from 55 French students. Findings underscore the significance of augmenting assistance and guidance from supervising educators, alongside modifying pedagogical content to foster practical teaching abilities and career prospects. The objective is to refine pedagogical competencies and encourage students’ confidence throughout their internship journey.
