Abstract

Chat GPT has increased in popularity worldwide since 2022, and it not only answers queries in seconds but also creates text that is similar to that written by a person. Furthermore, in contrast to other chatbots, it may engage in user discussions in the most natural way. This article will provide a quick overview of Chat GPT, and its establisher, Open AI. This article also tries to highlight the benefits and drawbacks of using this AI software in language acquisition, with a focus on students and teachers and then provide recommendations for future purposes.
