Using Gis technology and Mapinfo software to create integrated agricultural maps to develop thinking ability in teaching local geography at Hai Phong University

Abstract

Cartography is an important indispensable tool in the teaching and research of Geography. The application of GIS technology and MapInfo software to build a detailed agricultural map system of Hai Phong city is really necessary in teaching local geography. The paper’s focus is on using MapInfo software to create agricultural maps and provide examples and evaluate the effectiveness of the use of GIS technology in local geography education, in order to encourage teachers, researchers and students interested in this field to participate and apply GIS technology in their work.
