Abstract

This study investigates the current state of vocabulary learning among first-year English majors in the Vietnamese higher education environment. Data was collected using the case study method, with 32 students from an English language class participating in an online survey. The results indicate the current status of vocabulary learning among students and suggest solutions to enhance the effectiveness of vocabulary acquisition.
