Abstract

Based on the concept: Problem-solving competency according to the Mathematics Curriculum of General Education (2018), and the teaching process of mathematical concepts by Do D. Thai and colleagues (2020), the author designs situations and organizes the teaching of the square concept aimed at developing mathematical problem-solving competency for 6th-grade students in secondary school.
