Managing students’ self-study activities at Western Construction University in the context of university autonomy

Abstract

Recntly, at universities among the country in general, Mien Tay Construction University (MTU) in particular, students are high capable of learning and scientific research because they have been approaching and acknowleging the modern educational system in Industrial Revolution 4.0. For instance, students have many achievements in competitions such as Creative Ideas, Green Architecture, Ideas and Design, Startup Ideas, ... The school has created favorable conditions for facilities, costs, ... to help students have the best conditions for learning, research and creativity. However, a number of students have not promoted their creativity, have not actively studied and researched. This article analyzes the number of advantages, some shortcomings as well as some suggested solutions to help students promote academic freedom activities at Mien Tay Construction University.
