Abstract

The digital economy is the result of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with digital technologies being widely applied in all aspects of social life. The rapid development of digital technology poses new demands on the transmission and acquisition of knowledge. The teaching of Political Economy in higher education institutions in our country has been reformed to focus on the theory of the market economy, adhering to the logic and historical development from lower to higher stages. In this new context, instructors can use the achievements of the digital economy as a tool to enhance learners’ capacities and foster their creativity.
