Abstract

The career development of foreign teachers involved in teaching at educational institutions in Hanoi is a pressing issue in the context of the current internationalization of education in Vietnam. This article analyzes the factors influencing the career development of foreign teachers; it assesses policies and regulations related to recruitment, the working environment at educational institutions, and teacher training programs aimed at enhancing teaching skills while identifying the challenges and opportunities foreign teachers face. The study concludes that the career development of foreign teachers relies not only on policies and the working environment but also requires ongoing support from training and professional development programs. This helps foreign teachers improve their teaching capacity and better integrate into the educational environment in Hanoi.
