RESEARCH ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING NATIONAL DEFENSE EDUCATION AT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES IN VIETNAM TODAY

Abstract

In recent years, our national security is facing increasingly serious challenges. In such a new
situation, we must effectively enhance students’ awareness of national security and defense through
strengthening National Defense Education in colleges and universities. This study compares the experiences
of National Defense Education in Vietnam and foreign universities and proposes specific countermeasures
and recommendations for the problems that our colleges and universities are facing in National Defense
Education. The results are used to propose considerations to promote the effectiveness of National Defense
Education activities according to the current situation of the country and prepare for future risks.
