DEVELOPING AN IN VITRO PROPAGATION PROCESS FOR THE KIM TUYEN ORCHID SERVING STUDENTS' TEACHING AT KON TUM COLLEGE
Abstract
The Kim Tuyến Orchid (Anoectochilus sp.) is a type of medicinal herb that is widely utilized in
medicine, possessing significant pharmacological value and high economic worth. The establishment of
an In vitro propagation protocol for the Kim Tuyến Orchid is aimed at supporting the education of students in majored in high-tech agriculture at Kon Tum College, equipping them with fundamental knowledge and skills in In vitro propagation, an advanced technique in high-tech agricultural practices. Regarding the sterilization of samples and the culture medium, the procedures are as follows: Conducting
the sterilization of the samples, using 5% Ca(OCl)2 in 22 minutes; the initiation culture medium is MS
supplemented with 1 mg/L BA; the proliferation culture medium consists of MS supplemented with 1.5
mg/L BA and 0.5 mg/L NAA; the medium for the complete plant formation is MS supplemented with 0.1
mg/L BA and 0.5 mg/L NAA.
