Abstract

This study examines students’ perspectives on the blended learning environment at the
University of Information and Communications Technology – Thai Nguyen University, with a particular
emphasis on the development of this model after the COVID-19 pandemic. Blended learning, with the
integration of face-to-face education and online learning/distance education, has made significant
strides in higher education. The survey results show that the majority of students have a positive attitude
towards this model thanks to its flexibility, convenient access to learning materials, and support from both
lecturers and technology platforms. However, students also pointed out challenges such as limited faceto-face interaction, uneven digital skills, and unstable technology infrastructure. The study concludes
that blended learning – once a temporary solution during the pandemic – has become a long-term and
sustainable trend in higher education. To be effective, it is necessary to increase investment in technology,
train teachers, and develop teaching methods suitable for the blended learning environment.
