The article analyzes the awareness and attitudes of students and residents of Ho Chi Minh
City towards food and culinary destination choices in the context of urbanization and sustainable
development. Through the Planned Behavior (TPB) model, the article points out the close relationship
between awareness, attitude and behavior, and explains the reasons when actual behavior is inconsistent
with awareness. The article also proposes some application suggestions for the tourism industry and
establishments producing and supplying green and safe food.
