Abstract
The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of experiential learning and clarifies the role
of experiential activities in teaching Number and Operations in Grade 4 under a competency-based
orientation. Based on this foundation, the study proposes a four-step process for designing experiential
activities that ensures alignment among objectives, content, methods, and assessment. The findings of the
study provide useful guidance for teachers in organizing mathematics instruction more effectively.
