Abstract
The study evaluates the effectiveness of teaching the “Electricity” topic in the Grade 8 Natural
Science subject using the STEAM education approach. Related themes were designed and experimented
with, namely “Creating a Flashlight of Knowledge” and “Designing a Lighting System for a Two-Story
House Model”. The final results demonstrate the feasibility of the established teaching process, the
development of students’ problem-solving competence, and its alignment with current requirements for
innovating teaching methods in Lower Secondary Schools
