Abstract
This study investigates the current perceptions of administrators and preschool teachers in
private preschools located in Phuong Liet Ward, Hanoi, regarding STEAM education for children aged
5–6. The findings reveal that most administrators and teachers possess a high level of awareness about the
importance, concepts, content, and methods of organizing STEAM education activities for 5–6-year-old
children. However, there remains a considerable proportion of administrators and teachers who do not yet
have an accurate understanding of STEAM education in early childhood settings. This situation highlights
the need for appropriate measures to enhance the quality of STEAM education activities in the area.
