Abstract

The article presents research and solutions to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and
applying visual communication in environmental education for students majoring in Graphic Design
in Vietnam. The research results indicate that purposeful visual communication design education will
improve awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development in the student community.
Through designing communication towards environmental protection, students majoring in Graphic
Design in Vietnam can improve their professional skills, practice social knowledge, and bring benefits to
themselves and the community. These learning projects will help students to be both professionally good
and socially responsible
