Abstract

The course English for Logistics is designed to equip students with both professional knowledge
and language competence necessary for working in an international environment. However, developing
the course content remains challenging, particularly in the stage of needs analysis to ensure its practicality. This study investigates the perspectives of three employers currently working in Logistics companies
in Northern Vietnam through semi-structured interviews. The findings highlight key considerations in the
development of specialized teaching materials to make the English for Logistics course more relevant to
real occupational needs
