Applying and creating teaching activities in Speaking for non English major students

Abstract

The article devoted the creative application of activities in teaching speaking English to non specialist students. First, the author presents various elements needed to prepare before teaching speaking, roles of using activities in teaching English as well as stages of activities development in classes. Then, the author also names several practical activities often applied at Hai Phong University. Five recomedations to sharpen the efficiency of teaching speaking through activities are emphasized in the final part of the article.
