Teaching methods to develop the quality and competence of high school students - International experiences and lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

Teaching in the direction of capacity development has become an educational trend of worldwide interest. Researching experiences in some countries such as Singapore, the US, Japan, the UK, ... shows that the use of teaching and educational methods towards capacity development in some subjects has brought about many positive results. Those success are valuable lessons for Vietnam in the process of renewing teaching methodologies and implementing the current curriculum and textbooks.
