Measures to stimulate interest in learning English for first-year students at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment

Abstract

The interest in learning means that someone has an interest in something and it becomes easy and even enjoyable to learn about that topic. It is very important for learning foreign languages, particularly English. In fact, when students enter university, they are fond of memorizing information and learning something interesting. In this article, the writer proposes some measures to motivate and maintain interest in learning with the aim to improve their English competence and meet the requirements of international integration.
