Current status of knowledge about fire safety of students at National Economics University

Abstract

In recent years, the issue of fire safety is receiving special adttention from organizations and individuals. The Ministry of Education and Training has issued Circular 06/2022/TT-BGDDT to guide the implementation of fire prevention skills at educational institutions. This study was conducted to evaluate the level of understanding of students at the National Economics University about fire prevention through survey and quantitive method. The results show that the level of fire safety knowledge and competence of students at the National Economics University is influenced by cognitive factors, level of access to information and level of access to fire safety education. In addition, the study also showed that there is a difference in the level of fire safety knowledge and competence between male and female students.
