Following world trends, since the Fourth Industrial Revolution, many countries have taken specific actions to promote digital transformation in all agencies and fields. In Vietnam, university education is a pioneering field in the national digital transformation. Within the scope of the article, the author proposes a number of opportunities and challenges for higher education institutions, thereby proposing some recommendations to higher education institutions to help the implement of digital transformation be effective in higher education institutions.
