Abstract

Designing and using toys following a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach helps 5-6 year old preschoolers explore science in a creative and interesting way. Toys are designed to stimulate children to learn about scientific, engineering, and mathematical principles through hands-on activities and experiences. Using this toy not only helps children develop logical and creative thinking skills but also encourages them to learn and explore their surroundings actively. The article presents some principles and requirements for using toys, especially the article proposes 5 self-created toys to help preschoolers 5-6 years old explore science.
