Borrowed words in contemporary Vietnamese short stories

Abstract

Vietnamese short stories have many characteristic signs in terms of linguistic form. One of those signs is the use of word classes. The article draws conclusions about the usage characteristics of the classes of borrowed words used in the story. This is also the class of words that makes the story’s language unique compared to other contemporary literary genres.
